Vybz Kartel is gearing up to release his latest album, King of the Dancehall, which was made available for pre-order on May 6 exclusively on iTunes.


Distributed by Zojak World Wide, the album will be available exclusively to Apple Music subscribers on June 3, the same day the third instant-gratification track, Colouring This Life, will be offered in the iTunes store. Apple Music will offer exclusive streaming one week before the 14-track album is available for download June 10, a service usually reserved for major label artistes.

His album’s first single, Fever has reached it’s 500,000 mark just within a week of it’s upload. An additional track, Western Union will be released on May 20.

King of the Dancehall contains never before released tracks from Vybz Kartel, all recorded by the prolific artiste before his incarceration. The album is a collaborative effort between Adidjahiem Records and TJ Records.
